Fantastic place to stay! Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights and could have easily stayed for way longer. Made to feel very welcome by the very friendly hosts and their gorgeous 2 dogs. Will definitely be visiting again!

Angela & Michael were fantastic hosts and the lodge is perfect for a relaxing trip away. We booked the lodge due to its location as we wanted to escape from our day to day lives and have some rest and relaxation. The little touches made the lodge feel like a home from home! The welcome pack including breakfast bits was lovely and well received! The hot tub was amazing and enhanced our stay. It was perfect for relaxing under the stars. Angela & Michael were on hand if we needed anything, and once we had checked in we were left to our own devices! We had a fabulous time, and will be recommending the lodge to family and friends. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This was by far the best place we have been with Airbnb! We can't wait to go back! I went with my boyfriend for my birthday and Angela left me a little birthday gift in the fridge, provided plenty of food and drink to start us off and had a lovely welcome! Angela and Mike are very thoughtful hosts and Bailey, Poppy and Colins visits made my day! Although the weather wasn't always amazing the hot tub made up for it as well as the nice hot fire to come back inside to, all wood is provided for the fire too which I thought was amazing! Plenty of privacy too but also easy to get in touch with Angela! Plenty of things to do around the are, Wallings Ice Cream Factory was gorgeous! Thank you for the best birthday ever Angela and Mike!

I booked a stay at Graystock lodge as a surprise trip for my boyfriend. We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Michael met us on arrival and showed us around the lodge. Angela popped over when she got back to greet us. We had such a warm welcome by such lovely hosts. I could not recommend this little gem of a place enough! For the price and what you get it's so worth it! The place was so clean in all areas and we had such a fab time. We spent both evenings in the hot tub relaxing under the stars. It was truly magical. It was lovely to get away from the busy bustle of every day life and with the weeks running up to our stay being rough this is definitely the relaxation that I for one needed. Graystock lodge has everything you could possibly want or need for your stay. We made shmores over the fire one evening and used the grill to have a little barbeque. Angela was such a wonderful host and she even popped over on valentines day to gift us with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate! Which was absolutely lovely of her. We loved our welcome pack as well and the slippers and dressing gowns were useful to throw on when coming out of the hot tub. The little extra touches are what makes a stay so special. We loved it so much here that we didn't want to leave! Two nights wasn't enough! We are already planning our next trip to this wonderful hidden gem. The lodge is the perfect place to visit if you are wanting to get away from it all. It's so quiet and not a light to be seen on an evening. It comes with everything you need and you would never really need to leave! Netflix and Amazon prime on the TV, wifi and an Alexa on hand to keep the music going. Although it did spark a debate on how polite I should be to robots in the future... The mini kitchen area is enough to cook a proper meal. We ended up using the sofa bed as it was so cozy with the fire on although there is a room in the main house to use also. One of the big draws for us was the hot tub which was a great way to spend the chilly evening watching storm Eric roll in. Just down the lane is Farm Yard Ales which is well worth a visit. Great beer and great people. I'll definitely be recommending it to our friends and we will be back.

Had a lovely and relaxing weekend celebrating my boyfriends birthday at Angela’s Lodge. Secluded location as we wanted and even though it’s just behind the house we still felt we had the privacy we wanted. Hot tub was of course a highlight and enjoyed a few drinks in there in the evenings! Cosy log fire was roaring when we arrived and although we didn’t actually meet Angela her daughter was very helpful with settling us in. Would recommend a visit to FarmYard Ales - a cool microbrewery just a few mins drive down the road!
